Agilus is recruiting for a Service Parts and Accessories Consultant in the OEM/Automotive Industry . The Service, Parts and Accessories Consultant is a specialized field role reporting to the National Sales Manager. This individual works collaboratively with sales to drive growth in Parts and Accessories (P&A) sales through Canadian dealers while supporting dealership Service Operations. By analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and implementing best practices the SPAC will ensure dealers are focused and capable to grow their P&A sales while delivering the unique, and authentic customer first experience. A typical day:
- Works in partnership with field sales team to achieve annual wholesale and retail sales targets for parts and accessories.
- Develops and analyzes service, parts, and accessories KPIs to evaluate dealer performance.
- Communicates gaps and opportunities effectively with dealer management.
- Assists field team in implementing best practices around process improvements, customer experience, merchandising, and marketing that will result in sales and profit improvements at dealerships
- Subject matter expert on personalization and customization of new and used motorcycles and can use this expertise to influence dealer actions.
- Supports Warranty audits of dealers as needed (liaison in arranging, performing and following up on results)
- Assures integration among key dealership functions (Motorcycle Sales, P&A, Finance and Insurance and Service). Applies a consultative, business advisory approach to partner with dealerships to identify opportunities for business development and/or improvements to Service and P&A areas in dealerships
- Monitors dealer training participation in Service and P&A areas, ensures adequately trained technicians across the network and influences dealerships on value of highly trained staff
- Valid Motorcycle License (or in process of attaining one)
- COVID-19 Vaccination
- Post Secondary Degree (College or University)
- 5-7 years of related experience (dealership or Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) service/parts operations or similar
- Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills, and ability to communicate with all employee levels including dealer employees, and work within a collaborative, fast paced and interactive team environment
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams. Must be able to create / automate reports and tools to support the business.
- Very adept at leveraging technology to be highly effective interacting virtually with dealers.
- 25% travel (across Canada) and able to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the dealers.
- 85-90K Base Salary (based on experience)
