Agilus is recruiting for several Manufacturing Maintenance/Utility Workers in the Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing Industry in Whitby, Ontario.
Agilus is recruiting Utility and Maintenance personnel to join our ever-growing client. Immediate temp-perm opportunity with lots of perks! Full Time Swing shift (day/afternoon) or steady midnight available ( NOC B)
A day in the life:
- . Worksheets are to be handed in after all applicable PM work is complete, check sheets are handed in daily when completed
- Ensure that all machine breakdowns are given prompt attention and troubleshooted for the cause of the breakdown. All repairs are to be performed and properly documented.
- • Rebuild/clean, assemble/disassemble spray guns. • Daily maintenance, sweeping, mopping and use of floor scrubber to ensure cleanliness of shop floor as needed while being conscientious of safety requirement
- • General maintenance responsibilities, ensuring proper lighting in work cells, snow blowing/salting parking lot and other areas when necessary, painting as required by facility needs. • Cleaning facility spills with approved Spill Kits
- • Operating of Fork Lift, loaders, and mobile equipment • Inventory (receipt, count, placing in correct location, removal from truck, sign for receipt of, confirmation of receipt of stated delivered items)
- Ensure that all preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely manner as per schedules. Any PM activity which results in longer downtime than originally scheduled must be reported to the Supervisor.
You bring:
- Knowledge in Preventative Maintenance system is a plus
- Operation of Industrial Equipment preferred
- Valid Forklift license
- Must be familiar with QS9000 requirements especially as it relates to machine maintenance activities
- Must have a strong mechanical background and have a general understanding of the function and operation of fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of Fanuc Robots, air operated diaphragm pumps and fluid transfer equipment considered an asset
- Experience in Robotics, Automotive Manufacturing Maintenance, Automotive Paint Process, or Building Maintenance is a plus
